I’m Tricia and I’m a lifestyle portrait and documentary photographer in Philadelphia. I would love to tell your story.

My work has been described as “joyful, effortlessly beautiful, and timeless.” I am a story teller and use movement and light to tell your story during all my sessions. Most importantly, I aim to show strong connections in my images whether it’s a photo of a newborn wrapped up in her parent’s arms, a child laughing so hard his belly hurts, or siblings quietly reading together.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME:

I live in a Queen Village row home with my husband of 20 years, Vince; 3 daughters/favorite models Fiona (16), Luna (13) and Poppy (10); and 2 cats, Albus & Clara.  Vince and I met at Boston College and moved to Philly in 2000.   We immediately felt at home here and we knew this was where we wanted to raise a family.

After working in TV production for more than 10 years, I decided to pursue my growing obsession - photography. Growing up, I was always the one with the camera out, taking photos, and have the photo albums to prove it! I honed my skills with classes at University of the Arts and eagerly joined a vibrant online photography community.

Once launched, I quickly learned photographing people was my passion. Philadelphia has made a dynamic backdrop for my work and I love taking advantage of its historic parks, colorful murals, stunning architecture, and developing waterfront.

In 2017, my sister -- who also lives in Queen Village -- and I collaborated on Walking Philadelphia: 30 Walking Tours Exploring Art, Architecture, History and Little-Known Gems, published by Wilderness Press. She created the tours, I took the photos highlighting the beauty of Philadelphia.

I've also had my images printed in The Philadelphia Inquirer and The South Philly Review and have been featured on many photography sites.

Other things I love:

The Harry Potter series (I've visited Universal's Wizarding World twice -- without my children); YA Fantasy novels; HBO's Game of Thrones; anything made with potatoes; the Jersey shore and beaches in general; and family movie nights. GIF battles always make me laugh. I'm still trying to decide if I prefer dirty martinis or mojitos made with mint from our garden. Gardening is a favorite, too and I’ve finally figured out which flowers grow the best around our home after 16 years.

One of my favorite things to do is dance photography and my daughters are my favorite subjects. Some images I love…
